The Confuzzler and Walter the Vulture

The Confuzzler is one of the earliest books I've illustrated, written by Emma Stevens from the United Kingdom. It's a whimsical story that tells the tale of a strange creature named the Confuzzler meeting three(also strange-looking) kids that accidentally traveled to his world. At first, the kids are stupefied, but as the story goes, they discovered many a unique things at the Confuzzler's place. It's a colorful story and conveys a pretty deep message; differences exist to be celebrated, not shamed on.

A few months later, Emma contacted me again for another book; this time it has a different character, but still same light-hearted moral story. Walter is a vulture who's yet to learn to fly. He would try so hard and still end up failing. One day, he meets Iggy One and Iggy Two, two kind-hearted eagles. They nudged him to learn another way to fly by gliding from tree to tree and in the end, Walter succeeded flying. Sometimes the best teachers are those who taught us how to tackle a problem from a different way, instead of just teaching us.
